So, we were all excited about a new bottled coconut milk on the market. Until we read the ingredients! Coconut milk is a natural product which requires no other additives. This one has more than a dozen, along with canola oil and soy which we choose to exclude from our diet (due to their GM status and hormonal effects) and carrageenan which has been proven to cause intestinal and digestive problems - not something you want if youre avoiding dairy because of intolerances, or youre coeliac or gluten intolerant! If youre buying coconut milk look for pure, preferably organic, and no additives.
