So what a night!...went to watch Macclesfield v Wrexham at the racecourse ground...not the greatest evening of hospitality from the home side to say the least!..The fun if you can call it that started just before the start of the second half. ...I returned a little early to my seat and was joined by the Chester City manager and his friend we chatted about the match and ducked out of the way of the half time pies that the home fans decided to launch in our direction! Now there is a funny side to such things but what followed was not...A storm of abuse from around a hundred or so Wrexham fans and then a hail of coins which hit a few of the Macclesfield directors and visitors very dangerous!...The home stewardship was slow and poor and to see the Chester manager being asked to leave for his own safety it was like a throwback to the the bad old days of English football.. Think Ill stick to horseracing dont need behaviour like that at any sports venue...shame on you Wrexham! Oh and the halftime Cupper gave me a dodgy gut just to finish the night off...lol
