So what do you think of the Hockey SticK story in North Sydney. The stick was made in 1835-38 by a young feller from that town. IT was displayed at a barber shop until the barber retired at which time was offered $1000.00 for the stick. The barber said he did not realize the significance nor the value of the stick so he accepted the $1000.00. The man who bought in turn sold it to the Canadian Museum of Civilization for $300,0000.00. FAIR or NOT FAIR.. I wonder.???? Should the barber have been told the true value of the famous hockey stick which is believed to be the oldest in the world.
