So what exactly is happening with the High Desert Maker Mill project? Well...beyond the pitching, a lot of work and planning is still happening in the background. The interim Board meets weekly and is continuing to develop the business plan and by-laws. Its hard to show this work unless youre intimately involved. We met with another property manager today and took measurements. These measurements turn into a space plan. The space plan turns into a buildout budget and revenue projections. Really...until we find the right space, and the right funding stream...we continue to get our plan refined, hold classes, do outreach...so on. Well provide some more updates, and were planning another couple of meetups soon. -swb
