So whats your thoughts on this reds? Personally I think we need to concentrate on getting some cohesion amongst the squad and getting a top four finish. I appreciate the fact that no European games and an early league cup exit leaves our fixture list looking a bit thin but jetting off around the world to play friendlies isnt going to do us any favours. We risk injuries for one thing, jet lag and tiredness to players if we are going to the far flung corners of the globe ad whilst it will undoubtably bring in lost revenue from missing out on the champions league this year LVG had already said he didnt like all the travelling in the summer so I fail to see how doing it during the season is going to have a positive impact on getting back into Europe for next season ...
