So, when you think youre having a bad day....... So, I get home last night from work, ready to go grocery shopping, and there is no hot water. Not that the waters not hot, NO FLOW of water. Cold was ok. What? David tells me they were flushing the hydrants when he got home. Must have jarred loose a poop-load of sediments or something and clogged the ingoing waterline to the heater. Called water dept--not our problem--inside your home. Freakin great--you cause it and I fix it! So, after shopping, I was up to midnight sweating pipes! I hate soldering !!@!!!! Worse yet, I get up this morning and one of my joints sprung a leak, so I was soldering before work and was late. Hope to hell the basement is dry when I get home. Even if it is, the contractor starts digging today, so Im positive the news will suck and be expensive. Im telling you, 2013 sucks! Washer repair guy comes Saturday--should be even more good news... If I can survive this year, Im ready for the comet. Oh, wait, thats supposed to happen in December(?).....still 2013......(great).
