So..while having alone time here lately with nothing but silence I begin once again to talk with God...and his answers flow thru in memories with just the right message I need...heres one I got today...so there I am maybe 6th grade age with my sisters. Samantha Regina Stinnett and sue on a busy 4 lane interstate. My mother Robbin Hilbert driving a beat up tempo to yet another New state another new life. My dad Greg Hilbert already in Tenn waiting for us to get to our new home. Well as you can imagine us girls tired of being in the car aaaagain and my mom leaned over the steering wheel clutched tight scared to death of the other cars telling us just to go to sleep we would be there in a few hours...when all of the sudden a log truck in front of us gives my mother an eery feeling. As she says this our car just stalls. Going from 70 quickly down all the electronics shutting down as she tries to move from the fast lane to the shoulder while playing trigger with oncoming traffic. Safely we make it to the side of the road where my mother briefly breaks down and worries. Now she has 3 young girls a car full of luggage..many miles to walk to a gas station to call anyone and who wind she call..what state were we in anyways? ...so she lifts her forehead off the steering wheel, wiped her tears and whispers some thing under her breath..then says Ill try it...not to us because we were scared silent. She turns the key over and IT STARTS....what....she pulls back onto the interstate deciding. To go on and just as we pass about a mile down was the logging truck. ..WRECKED..the car behind it crushed....we made it to our destination later that day. Safely. The car had nothing wrong to explain its stalling. So Im reminded yet again today of a lesson God allowed me to live thru in the past. Not everything has a reason I may be aware of at the moment. Maybe Im put exactly where Im supposed to be and when. Ill see why later. Just trust.
