So ... why have God in your life? Why not just do everything yourself? Youre smart, right?! You got dis! Well here ya go ... when we rely on ourselves, we limit ourselves to our own knowledge and experience. When we partner up with God and ask Him to lead and direct our paths, it opens up so many more opportunities!! See ... when we ask God to come into our lives now we have access to not only what WE know, but what HE knows, as well! And ... cmon ... youre smart ... but ... REALLY?! Im pretty smart myself but I can assure you ... I aint smarter than God! And, speaking, from my own experience, God has led me on some incredible journeys that I would have NEVER taken on my own! Ive been blessed so richly in my life and I can attest to the fact that my life has been so much better WITH God than it was without Him! So ... do what you want. You be god and rely on yourself or let GOD be GOD and rely on Him! Your choice!
