So, with my 4 new pieces for sale, I am trying to figure out my work ratio, to that of market value, selling price, and production costs. Each of these small publications has taken me hundreds of hours of work, and just at the base rate of per item input, would have a street value, of around $900, just calculating at the minimum wage per item. So, am selling each for $12.50, free shipping, and no 9% tax.. Each is about $4.00 for printing, $2.00 for the mailer, and $2.00 shipping. Take off the tax, gas, and time to go to the post office, and Im losing money. Ok, must get costs down, and ordered cheaper mailers on ebay. Having the other equipment they use at the printers would help, the actual printing is not expensive. Investment in myself would help. Ok, so have done a few things that the world has never seen.
