So with our big move to a new house coming up starting this weekend, I figured what better time to break some other big news in our life! Willies long term foster had turned into a reeeeeeal long term foster..as we have decided to foster to adopt! While Im sure this may come to no surprise to most, Willie barged his way into our hearts, home, and family the moment he trampled through my door. He will still technically be a foster situation until he is down to his normal weight and we figure out some of his health issues (we plan on doing a big fundraiser of some kind soon to raise money for Sweet Paws Rescue who have been FANTASTIC and prove their commitment to their foster dogs and program by continuing to financially support them medically..You guys are seriously the best and deserve all the recognition and applause in the world!) I really wanted whats best for Willie and had a vision for whats best for him..but I guess at the end of the day, I DONT always know best and some things cant be planned out that way. Stumbling across Willies story one night and the whole Sweet Paws clan was fate it seems, and Im more than willing to accept it. Please join me in welcoming Willie to our forever family. To have a nice warm home for the rest of his life, continued companionship with his original Dad, and a journey neither of us will soon forget towards health and happiness. I love you Willie!
