So yea, THIS JUST HAPPENED! MY GOD IS AMAZING! I just stated in my previous post that I was about to get in the word feeling anxious and fearful. Todays Jesus Calling says Sit quietly with God, letting all your FEARS and WORRIES bubble up to the surface of your consciousness. There, in the Light of His Presence , the bubbles pop and disappear. However, some fears surface over and over again, especially fear of the future. You tend to yourself mentally into the next day, week, month, year, decade, and you visualize yourself coping badly in those times. What you are seeing is a false image, because it doesnt include God. Those gloomy times that you imagine will not come to pass, since His Presence will be with you at all times. When a future-oriented worry assails you, capture it and disarm it by suffusing the Light of Gods Presence into that mental image. Say to yourself, Jesus will be with me then and there. With His help, I can cope! Then, come home to the present moment, where you can enjoy Peace in Gods Presence. Luke 12:22-32 Then He said to His disciples , Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither store house nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? Consider the Lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If God then so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an ANXIOUS mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father, knows that you need these things. But seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you! Do not FEAR, little flock, for it is your Fathers good pleasure to give you the kingdom! Not only did I hear a song with this scripture in it last night, but our pastor Billy Adams spoke about sheep last Sunday! And, it was Wednesdays discussion as well! Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them, for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you I talked about courage last Sunday in a meeting! 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, BRINGING EVERY THOUGHT INTO CAPTIVITY TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST.... I talked about taking thoughts captive last night in a meeting! YOU CANT TELL ME THERE IS NO GOD!! MY GODS NOT DEAD!! HES SURELY ALIVE LIVING ON THE INSIDE ROARIN LIKE A LION!!!
