So yes, with the kids egging me on; I did the ALS #IceBucketChallenge. While the kids and I have decided we must donate regardless, the challenge itself was totally another thing. I dont swim because I am convinced that I will drown and I dont go near the pool at any poolside parties.. So this pouring ice cubes and ice cold water thing is unfathomable for most of the night. Then at 5:30am, Zi-enn came in and said everything is ready; the ice and all.. Shes even got it worked out: shell hold the camera and Zi-weng will empty the bucket on me. How do I say no? So at 6:12am, I did it. Thanks to Carmen Soo who nominated me - you know itll be payback time when we shoot next, right? Hahahahaha! And I am nominating the whole team at @kakiseni and everyone who is working on #kakisenifest which includes Khai Bahar SC Lim Abby Latif etc etc - I gotta share the love!! :) Also passing on the challenge to Dato Ruby Khong and @saniboeymohdismail - gotta up the game! :) In 24 hours k? Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)—also referred to as motor neurone disease (MND), Charcot disease, and, in the United States, Lou Gehrigs disease—is a neurodegenerative disease with various causes. It is characterised by muscle spasticity, rapidly progressive weakness due to muscle atrophy, difficulty in speaking (dysarthria), swallowing (dysphagia), and breathing (dyspnea). ALS is the most common of the five motor neuron diseases.
