So yesterday I put a call out for someone to translate a video I had come across. It was a 2:00+ video of an ONGOING transmission coming out of Russia from a mysterious radio station and has continued to broadcast a very high powered high pitch sound consistently throughout the world from Russia for 40 years…but no one knows why. Un-officially known as UVB 76, shortwave radio enthusiasts have been fascinated by this mysterious signal nicknamed The Buzzer, which has been continuously broadcast at very high power, 24 hrs a day, for over 40 years. Some conspiracy theorists believe it is a homing beacon for UFOs, or a Cold War mind control device set up by the former Soviet Union. Others felt it was an old Soviet Dead Man’s Switch that triggers a nuclear attack on the west if it ever stops buzzing. This idea caused some significant alarm when the signal actually did go silent one day in 2010. But its not just the alarming buzzer pattern that has everyone so intrigued. Every once in a while, The Buzzer has been briefly interrupted by a Russian message that first announces UVB 76 as the call sign, followed by a short secret coded message like a name with a few numbers, before returning to The Buzzer again. Radio Signal Triangulation of the broadcast tower has actually shown that the signal really does belong to the Russian military, and its relayed directly from Moscow to the Vulcan Military Communications Hub at Palace Square in St. Petersberg where the signal is then boosted and transmitted by good old reliable shortwave radio for thousands of miles across Asia & Europe. The day of silence in 2010 coincides with a military restructuring on the day they closed down and abandoned the old radio transmission base, and moved the broadcast to the new site in Moscow, where it is now used much more frequently under a new call sign. The short, secret messages seem to coincide with various military movements and events of political importance, though without a decryption key, it is virtually impossible to know what they mean or for who theyre intended. Here is the video I needed translated. I want to thank the person who came through with the translation. It appears that it is a list of names and numbers and she said it appears a code.
