So, yesterday we were supposed to have court at 1:15pm. I showed up to discover that Jonathan was no where on the docket. HMMM. Go to the desk. The lady explains to me he submitted a writ of habeus corpus and that the judge granted it. What does that mean? Jonathans new arraignment date will be January 21 at 8:30 am. He will be moved from Cass County Jail to Emmet County Jail at that time so that he may be present to face his accusers. After speaking with the receptionist and explaining that there is no current way in this world we are going to be able to afford an attorney, and she spoke with the judge and he assigned him a public defender. They are all good the lady says. Jonathan is planning once he is moved to represent himself on these charges. The judge wants someone to be able to advise him and be there from the beginning. We can bring in other counsel at anytime. I will promise you one thing as we get closer to pre trial Jonathan will represent himself with gusto, guts and glory. So that is the court update. We the family are hanging in there tough. I had some test on my kidney and they will be back next week hopefully everything is fine and I can continue to wait it out. We are pretty much out of supplies, my cloth diapers are worn out and I am out of diaper money. No nothing. Working hard to change that. I am trying so hard to stay afloat. WE MUST COME UP WITH THE MONEY FOR THE BONDSMEN THIS WEEK, it is only $100.00 or we lost our original fine. Please help if you can. Please spread the word. I have some appointments that I wont be able to get to with out gas money, so please. I am working as hard as I can, but I have the boys and very limited resources as I lost my year around job in August. I am trying hard to reformat our business, but this is a huge unexpected drain on our finances at a time when Jon was going to be doing the bread-winning and I was stepping back to take care of the boys and be pregnant.
