So yesterday when Edward got on the bus his bus driver asked to speak to me. Expecting that hed been switching seats again I went to talk to her. Surprisingly, she informed me that he had punched one of the kids on the bus. She has had him on her bus for 2-3yrs now so she knows this is very unusual behavior for him & opted to talk to me instead of writing him up. The kid he hit is the same one he has issues with at the bus stop, so I knew the other kid had to have done something to set Edward off enough to cause him to hit this other child because he usually walks away or tells him to go away & leave him alone. Sure enough, when asked what happened on the bus I found out that this other child moved seats to sit in front of Edward & was spitting at Edward and trying to hit him. After both Edward & the bus driver told him to stop and he didnt, Edward punched him once. Then the other kid left him alone. Maybe Im a bad mom or person, but I am proud of my little man for standing up for himself.
