So, you think you know God... Most people, especially Christians, think they actually know God, but when their ideas about God are placed against the backdrop of truth in the Bible, the head- scratching begins. This is extremely important, so let me explain... The primary word for God in the Bible is Elohiym and is used for the God who created the earth, sun, moon, stars, animals and man and works within the affairs of men, from the very first chapter of Genesis. The problem is, the word Elohiym does not mean God as a supreme, all-powerful entity and never has. So, what does Elohiym really mean? Elohiym means judges, rulers, gods (plural, with a little g) and...Angels, but it never has, nor ever will refer to the one, supreme deity that we think of as God. As a fact. If you think it does, you believe a lie. Whats also interesting about the name Elohiym, is that it comes from exactly the same Arabic root word for the Islamic God, Allah, which is Al. A fact that most Christian pastors and Islamic leaders like to ignore, because it does not fit into their religious doctrines, which teach that these two religions are distinct and at od ds with one-another. But what about YHWH, who Christians refer to as Jehovah or Yaweh. Well, once again, this name is another lie, in a long list of lies, within Christianity. You see, the Hebrew language is known as an Abjad language, which means it uses consonants and to know how to pronounce any word in an Abjad language, there needs to be small markings known as Niqqud to indicate which vowels are placed into the consonants; and even in the oldest texts of the Bible that we have, there are no Niqqud within the consonants of YHWH to justify the names Jehovah or Yaweh. None. Another fact that Christian pastors simply ignore, because it does not fit with their doctrines. The sec ret of the Tetragrammaton YHWH has never been solved. Christians believe it has been, but it has not, as a fact...until now.
