Soa Watchs contribution to the #ColumbusDay #conspiracy with an aside to Last Week Tonight with John Olivers brilliant takedown of the #holiday last night - including a brutal criticism of #ChristopherColumbus #Columbus himself (for his #slavery, #murder #genocide, & outright stupidity as well) & our stupidity at celebrating this conquistador when its been proven that the #Vikings & up to a million people were here first; & a day celebrating either a true Italian hero like #FrankSinatra or #AlPacino or of course the #indigenous people would make more sense - indeed, I suggest #DaVinci Day! But the day is owned by the mass slaughter & continued #oppression of as well as #racism against the #natives; & should rightly be renamed #IndigenousPeoplesDay or #IndigenousResistanceDay! As someone of #Cherokee ancestry, I can honestly & easily tell all of you who disagree to go screw yourselves! You have utterly destroyed my Paradise & Id like you all to leave, go back to #Europe, & face the International Criminal Court (ICC) #ICC #InternationalCriminalCourt or your #crimesagainsthumanity! But since that isnt going to happen (& we have to accept you just as you were [arguably!] forced to accept the indigeous, blacks, latinos, & women), please stop this heinous insult to our intelligence! #StopColumbusDay!
