Social Worker (Job Share) Based in TIPPERARY COUNTY (NORTH RIDINGRef. JOB-893579 Description This is a shared position for the two communities in Carrick-on-Suir and Grangemockler. The purpose and mission of this job is to support the intentional communities in developing and formalising a person centred culture and achieve a high quality of person centered outcomes in a time of rapidly changing regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance and consistency with legislation, best practice, policies & procedures and agreements. You must take responsibility for enabling people with special needs to achieve their full potential. See that the community provides the best standard of care and support and complies with legislation, policies, best practice (and can demonstrate same). Building and maintaining the capacity of the work force to meet identified needs. Dealing with inspections and audits of the provider through HIQA or the HSE and to act in the capacity of a Fit Person and Person in Charge. Skills Requirements 3rd Level Social Care/Social Work qualification. 5 years experience in a residential service for people with an intellectual disability or a directly related field at a supervisory level. Ability to rapidly assimilate the ethos and ideals that underpin an intentional life sharing community and uphold the same in the organisations practices. Openness to work with a group management processes. Some experiences in the field of autistic spectrum disorders. Own transport & full clean driving licence. Salary: €Neg DOE Other Benefits: The post holder would be expected to spend half their time in each community. A full job description is available on request.
