Somali Premier Mourns Assasinated MP The Prime Minister of Somalia, Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed has, in a statement condemned the assasination of former Somali MP, Mohamed Mohamud in a recent shooting when the deceased was assassinated by Al Shabaab militants who opened fire on his car. Taking a human life is abhorrent and only affects an innocent family and strikes them with grief. This criminal act will be investigated and justice will be brought forth,” The Prime Minister vowed. Also saying, “Mohammed Mohamud Hayd was a man who served his country and his people, thris is a very big insult to all the people of Somalia.” The prime Minister went ahead to say that these islamist perpetrators by doing this, were undermining the Holy month of Ramadhan and that they would earn the fruits of the Wrath of Allah. “Mohammed Mohamud Hayd will be remembered for his unwavering patriotism and devotion to the great nation of Somalia,” the Premier noted.
