Somalia is suffering from a measles outbreak that UNICEF and WHO characterize as “extremely alarming.” A measles vaccination only costs $1, however millions of children worldwide have been exposed to the disease. To make matters worse, malnourished children are more susceptible to severe cases of the measles.
