Some Christians in a bid to preach the message of Grace,meet unbelievers and start telling them of some certain rights and privileges They havein Christ....Rights???I ask....You cant come into my house and start claiming rights or exercising power(Ill flog you out)The same way an unbeliever doesnt have any right whatsoever and doesnt partake of the inheritance of the saints... Lets see the scriptures...John. 1:12...For as many as RECEIVED Him,to them He gave the power to become SONS of God,even to them that BELIEVE on His nameOnly Sons have Rights in their Fathers Stead....anyone who hasnt RECEIVED or BELIEVED in JESUS shouldnt be told about rights....He/She should be told about Gods Love and why Jesus came to save the World and the consequences of rejecting Christ and then you can brief the person on the rights and privileges to be enjoyed only if the person believesLets stop Watering down the gospel just to make it look attractive...What Jesus did on the cross was no joke...He died for that person you want to mislead.... Nowadays we hear a lot about the brotherhood of man and the Universal Fatherhood of God.That all sounds good,but everyone is not a Child of God,and although God is the creator of all,He is not the Father of all.He is only the Father of those who have been born again....If you go through Acts 9(the conversion of paul)notice that in verse 6 Paul acknowledged Jesus as Lordand in Romans 10:9 in His letter to the saints at Rome He said That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus(some translations use Jesus as LORD)and shalt believe in thine heart That God raised Him from the dead,thou shalt be SavedHe remembered His conversion on the road to Damascus...He Confessed Jesus as Lord in verse 6 and when Ananias went to pray for him in verse 17,he addressed him as Brotherbecause Paul had confessed Jesus as lord and was saved...He called him brother because God had now become Pauls Father too.... Inasmuch as we are not supposed to condemn people who arent saved,we should really speak the truth because Only the truth can set anyone free and Gods Word is TRUTH and shouldnt be watered down to bring anyone to embrace Christ....lets stop trying to do the work of the HolySpirit...it is Him that convicts....our words no matter how sweet and attractive we make it look cannot and will never be able to do that work....
