Some Irish numerology on my maternal line: I am one of 26 1st cousins and have 35 2nd cousins. Of the 1st cousins, 13 were born to my grandparentsâ first 6 children and 13 were born to my grandparentsâ next 6 children. Of the 2nd cousins, 18 are descendants of my grandparentsâ first 6 children and 17 are descendants of my grandparentsâ next 6 children. Including my grandparents, my maternal line has 73 blood relatives (that I know about). Of course, due to the dynamics of the family, all of these numbers are subject to change except for the number of offspring of my grandparents.
