Some Quiet Time Reading....a bit lenghty but informative. Pass along.... It’s Not Coincidence: The King Is Coming! By Cynthia Nuara Recently I visited the Facebook site, Aloha Bible Teaching, to find Pastor J.D. Farag’s latest weekly Mideast Prophecy Update. Instead, right at the top of the page was a video of a tiny toddler barely two years old. After hearing what she had to say, it left me with no doubt as to just how close we are to the Rapture. As Baby Lily says, “The King is coming.” “But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things He did and the children shouting in the temple courts, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David,’ they were indignant. ‘Do you hear what these children are saying?’ they asked Him. ‘Yes,’ replied Jesus, ‘have you never read, ‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise?’” (Matthew 21:16). Was it coincidental that the children were there in the temple courts praising Jesus? No. But, back to the video: Due to overwhelming response, Lily’s mother, Chelsea Hansen, has put it on YouTube for those who don’t have Facebook. I’d like to preface what Baby Lily said in the video with the following excerpt from Love Worth Finding Ministries with Adrian Rogers, which only strengthens my belief that Lily referred to God as “Abba” several times. “Have you ever thought about God as a daddy? Galatians 4:6 says, ‘And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying Abba, Father.’ Abba is the Aramaic word meaning Daddy, Father. Its a term of warm affection, intimacy and respect for ones father. Jesus called God, ‘Our Father,’ in Matthew 6:9, and He gave us that same right. In America, children call their fathers Daddy. But in the Middle East, they say Abba. Jesus says that we can call the great God of the Universe, Abba Father. Daddy Father.’” --- From the late Adrian Rogers, Names of God. Lily’s mother, Chelsea, explained that what Lily revealed is not something she has been taught. After all, she’s just a baby -- too young to understand about the Rapture. Here’s how it began, in Chelsea’s words: “At midnight (hours before this video was taken) Lily woke us up, knocking and talking at her door. She was saying with urgency, Somethings coming! Somethings coming! She elaborated on her dream vision later in the day. I managed to catch this video.” Lily Talking About Her Vision of the King (see her words below this link) https://youtube/watch?v=MvMkQ4SVkQ0&feature=youtu.be Here’s what Baby Lily said: “He’s coming. He’s coming. He’s coming. He’s coming on the way. Said Abba up. ‘Push you up,’ He said! The King bring me a present. On the air He says He’s coming. The King’s Abba up. The King’s showing Abba up. Showing Abba up. Abba up. Yeah, Abba up. He’s coming. Hes coming!” Notice that after Lily said, “He’s coming” the last time with anxiousness in her voice, she immediately closed her eyes and bowed down in reverence. The second time she bowed with a smile -- the third time, with glee. I thought at first that Lily was saying “uppa up,” and her mother wondered if she was saying “up and up.” But notice how Lily tried to clarify what she was saying when she looked straight into the camera and repeated herself. Others who watched the video pointed out that she was saying “Abba.” Lily was obviously describing the Rapture. We hear her say, “Push you up,’ He said!’” She also said, “On the air, He says He’s coming.” We know that the true believers in Christ will be “caught up” to meet Him “in the air” at the Rapture, where He will take us to be with Him (1 Thessalonians 4:17). He won’t return to Earth until the end of the Tribulation, when He comes back with us to rule and reign here on Earth for 1000 years. Chelsea related what occurred the morning after her dream vision: “The first thing she said when she woke up this morning was ‘Uh oh, the sky; He’s coming. He’s coming.’ When I got her granola bar, she said ‘Open up, because God is coming.’ Then she knocked on the wall 3 times.’” Now, how in the world do you follow something like that? Well, you can’t. Nevertheless, I hope you’ll find the rest of what I have to say of interest. I hesitated to write about a dream I had, since I don’t consider myself worthy enough to be one to whom God gives a prophetic dream or vision, and I didn’t want anyone to think I was boasting by telling it. However, I changed my mind after happening upon Lily’s video and thinking about how God works. Here’s a passage from 1 Corinthians 1:26-29… “Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things — and the things that are not — to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him.” Also, there’s this verse from Acts 2:17: “And in the last days it shall be,’ God declares, ‘that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.’” That said, here goes: I was particularly exhausted one day in mid December (due to fibromyalgia and sleep apnea), and took a much needed nap. Here’s what I dreamed: I was watching the night sky for the Geminid meteor shower (which reached its peak in mid December), hoping to see a really good fireball. Suddenly the sky opened up just enough to reveal several trumpets. I cannot say with certainty that there were seven trumpets, because I was anxiously looking for what would come next. But the dream ended there, unfortunately, as I was awakened by the sound of my husband arriving home. Was it prophetic? I can only say that, in the dream, I was expecting a meteor shower -- not the sky opening up to reveal trumpets. Could it be that these trumpets represented the seven trumpet judgments that will occur during the Tribulation? Interestingly, the second and third trumpet judgments involve something like a huge meteor falling from the sky. “Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood; and a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.” (Revelation 8:8-9). “Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of the water; and the name of the star is Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.” (Revelation 8:10-11) Speaking of meteors, I’m sure you remember the near-Earth asteroid flyby we had in 2013. It was said to be the closest asteroid flyby in recorded history. Well, another one’s coming on January 26th, and it will break that record for closeness to Earth, though at a safe distance. Those with telescopes and even binoculars will be able to see it if they know where to look in the sky. From NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory: When we get our radar data back the day after the flyby, we will have the first detailed images, said radar astronomer Lance Benner of JPL, the principal investigator for the Goldstone radar observations of the asteroid. At present, we know almost nothing about the asteroid, so there are bound to be surprises. --- JPLnasa.gov When the asteroid flyby occurred in 2013, it just so happened that on that same day a superbolide (super meteor) exploded over Russia, causing damage to 7,200 buildings over six cities & injuring 1,500 people enough to seek medical treatment, according to figures taken from Wikipedia.org. That same week there were reports of other fireballs in various places, but none as spectacular as the one in Russia. NASA claimed that the meteor explosion over Russia was not related to the asteroid flyby. Just coincidence then? I don’t think so. Perhaps the asteroid next week will fly by with no “coincidental” meteor side effects, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Regardless, we know not to expect any of the trumpet judgments next week, since they will occur during the Tribulation. While we’re on the subject of space, remember Comet Ison and how it was touted as potentially either the comet of the century, with naked eye visibility even in the daytime – or a big fail? Well, we all know it was a big fail. But now we have Comet Lovejoy (C/2014 Q2), only just discovered this past August of 2014, and it was not predicted to reach naked eye visibility. However, it has surprised astronomers. Under the right conditions, it can be seen with the naked eye and may even brighten a little more in the next week or so. So let’s see what’s going on down here on Earth. 2015 has really started off with a bang. Besides the terrorist strikes, we’ve had repeats of the unusual weather we had last year at this same time. The polar vortex struck again, bringing extremely cold weather to parts of the US. And just like last year at this time, heavy snowstorms hit the Middle East, which is an unusual occurrence for this part of the world. Interestingly, Russia started the year 2015 off with severe natural upheavals: increased volcanic activity, at least five earthquakes, avalanches and a months worth of snow – all in one day! Remember how Australia, which experiences summer when we have winter, suffered through a devastating heat wave last year at this time? So, what’s going on now? Here’s what it said in a January 8, 2015 article on BBC titled South Australia Faces Heavy Rain After Bushfire: “Rain began falling in the Adelaide Hills as firefighters contained a bushfire that has been raging for a week. Emergency services in South Australia are preparing to deal with potential severe flooding, with the state facing its heaviest rainfall in three decades. Craig Burke, a senior BoM forecaster, said, ‘Some towns in South Australia are expected to receive about 15 times their average monthly rainfall in the next few days.’” In the UK, the period from mid-December 2013 to mid-February 2014 saw at least 12 major winter storms. Overall, it was the stormiest weather the UK had experienced in 20 years. Forecasters predicted that this winter in the UK would be the worst in 100 years. So far it’s not been pleasant to say the least, with a repeat of snow, ice and gale force winds. From BBC, January 11: Weather Warnings across UK as Thousands Remain Without Power “Parts of the UK are being warned to brace themselves for more bad weather as tens of thousands of homes remain without power. The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice until Sunday and flood alerts remain in place in Scotland as well as England and Wales. Nearly 20,000 are without power after high winds and gusts of more than 100 mph cut lines and damaged networks. --- BBC God is in control, and He does nothing without warning us first. He is a loving God, who “is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). In His mercy He even came in the flesh to die for our sins. How much more loving can you get? All He asks is for us to accept Christ (God in the flesh) as our Savior and His free gift of pardon. Then we will be saved, forgiven and will receive an eternal home in heaven (John 3:16). Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him, and to our God, for He will freely pardon (Isaiah 55:6-7). But He is also a God of justice. When His warnings are not heeded, the judgments get stronger. No, I don’t believe God causes every natural disaster that happens. It was the fall of man into sin that affected the whole creation, which “has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time” (Romans 8:22). But these times are truly evil, and the world is ripe for severe judgment. “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man” (Matthew 24:37). “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know Gods righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them” (Romans 1:28-32). Yes, God does sometimes use natural disasters to awaken people from their spiritual apathy. Judgment brings repentance, at least for some. Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, which I have reserved for the time of distress, for the day of war and battle?” (Job 38:22-23). “Fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling His word!” (Psalms 148:8). Luke 21 describes some of what will happen during the Tribulation, when God’s wrath will be truly revealed on a grand scale. “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Luke 21:25-26). Jesus came first as the Suffering Servant, “the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world” (John 1:29). The Passover Feast found its fulfillment in Him. He was the ultimate sacrifice. But He will return as the Lion of Judah to judge the world. “And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:27-28). Notice it says when these things BEGIN to take place, our redemption is drawing near. Well, they have certainly begun, without a doubt. Not only are we seeing these extreme weather events increasing in intensity and frequency, but so are the other signs foretold by Jesus and the prophets: Wars and rumors of wars, plagues, false prophets, apostasy in the churches, evil waxing worse and worse, etc. Therefore, we must conclude that our “redemption is drawing near.” It’s not coincidence, folks. Is There Such a Thing As Coincidence? The following is an excerpt from GotQuestions.org, What Does the Bible Say About Coincidence? “The word coincidence is translated from the Greek word synkyrian, which is a combination of two words: sun and kurios. Sun means together with, and kurious means supreme in authority. So a biblical definition of coincidence would be what occurs together by God’s providential arrangement of circumstances. What appears to us as random chance is in fact overseen by a sovereign God who knows the number of hairs on every head (Luke 12:7). Jesus said that not even a sparrow falls to the ground without our Father’s notice (Matthew 10:29). In Isaiah 46:9–11, God states unequivocally that He is in charge of everything: ‘I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.’” --- GotQuestions.org There is one particular sign, as most of us have heard, that is the most profound proof that we are in the last days before the return of Christ. That sign can be summed up in one word -- ISRAEL. The Scriptures show that Israel is “the fig tree.” “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that He is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away” (Luke 21:29-33). Israel is the key to God’s prophetic calendar. In May 1948 Israel was again restored as a nation in one day as God said it would be (Isaiah 66:7-8). Israel is the focus of the world. God said it would be. “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it” (Zechariah 12:3). Now we see more and more Jews fleeing to Israel due to the rampant anti-Semitism that exists today. When the church age ends with the Rapture, God will again turn his full attention to the Jews, whom He has never forsaken in His word, regardless of what Replacement Theology adherents say. Just as God has great plans for His true believers, God has great plans for Israel! “For Zions sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalems sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch” (Isaiah 62:1). “On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest, and give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth” (Isaiah 62:6-7). “Go through, go through the gates; prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway; clear it of stones; lift up a signal over the peoples. Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your salvation comes; behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.’ And they shall be called The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken’” (Isaiah 62:10-12). Yes, Lily; the King is coming! Below is the link to a profoundly moving song/video that is guaranteed to touch your very soul if you support Israel, as God tells us to do. It is based upon Isaiah 62.
