Some Southern Californian friends and a world class Chilean gave - TopicsExpress

Some Southern Californian friends and a world class Chilean gave me my first introduction to yoga. It was their way of slowing their heartrate down and becoming so comfortable and relaxed that they could spend more time underwater hunting, without needing a bubble machine (as they called SCUBA) because they said, You wont see the truly big fish if youre using compressed air. They were right. After training and some echo-location assistance, I was able to accompany them and routinely drop down onto a school of pelagics in about 50 to 60 feet of the blue water Pacific. Sometimes a forty pound yellowfin tuna would come toward you, quite curious. Buoyancy control is an art if you are a blue water hunter. (Spearfishing while breath holding has ruined any interest I could have in rod-and-reel fishing from the surface, with the possible exception of dry fly casting). So when I saw this vid, I understood the other realm thats portrayed here... (Connie Marie, you and your dharma!)
