Some big dog play before the sun goes down. Gandalf and Jansen are a nice match size wise for some big dog rough housing. Gandalf lives with a pug at home, so he doesnt get to play and full body wrestle because of their age and size difference (although he does try to bug his brother pug). Jansen is used to playing with our middle sized dogs who are smaller than he is. It took him a little bit to warm up to Gandalf because he isnt used to playing with a dog larger then himself. Our first interaction was just sniffing, walking around together and each dog testing the waters to see where they both stood in respect to the other. They quickly developed an understanding and could trust that the other would give them respectful space if they told them they were uncomfortable. After all of the ground rules were set they had a very good time playing.
