Some days I sit and miss being in the Marine Corps. The pride that I had in myself as well as the pride that my family had in me. In my life I have very few regrets, but not making the Marines a career is at the very top of the list. But I can always look on the fact that I did serve my country and now I am providing for my family. I go to work everyday to a job that is beneath my skills and abilities so that my family is provided for. I learned from my grandfather and my father that this is what a man is supposed to do in their life. In life the argument of nature versus nurture comes up. I feel that it is nurture that defines who we are. I grew in the same enviroment of many people that I know, but have not done the things they have. I feel as though this is a product of my family and the support system that was with me coming up in the world.
