Some great learnings from the book Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy that we can all use to get more out of every day: o Do the most uncomfortable thing at the start of your day – eat a frog. The longer you stare at the frog the harder it is to eat o Every minute planning saves 10 mins in execution o 80/20 rule – 20% of all activities you do will contribute 80% of your results o Prioritize all tasks according to importance to your long term growth – abcd o Focus on key results areas – do the things that achieve results o One step at a time – often we procrastinate because it big picture is too big. You don’t have to do everything now, just decide to work on this little part before moving on to the next o Know that every goal will have a bottle neck and something that needs to be moved before you can really pick up speed. The faster you identify the bottlenecks and deal with them the faster you’ll succeed o Put pressure on yourself – deadlines have the power to increase efficiency – we work harder when we have a time constraint so do that – did it with the seminar, did it with the coaching program o Develop a sense of urgency – remember that every minute you spend chatting about the weather, surfing facebook is one minute less you can spend with your friends and family o Single task – don’t multi task it doesn’t save time it leaves us confused and dazed
