Some great points being made here in this blog post, to think about when people get all up in a bunch about using social media at their nonprofit organization. Thankfully when I worked at Volunteer Victoria we realized pretty quickly that a high level of trust had to be in place in order for many of our team to lead our social media channels. But we already had that trust in ourselves/each other anyway, so it was a natural extension. With social media, hearing the individual voices that make up an organization should still be "on message"!
