Some great points were made today. Help me out to remember them all. Two high schools means more opportunity for students to participate. Many parents from northern part of the district voiced concern over driving safety and showed their support for option A. It was suggested that one booster club be created with subdivisions to prevent businesses being bombarded with multiple request from donations. Concern that we make the right choices now so that we are not redrawing boundaries again in a few years. Specific concerns for the drill team and wrestling teams were asked. The board said a lot of details are still being worked out. Heritage will most definitely look like a 3a or 4a school. Questions were asked about why cant we keep it a 9th grade center longer. The board feels its their job to roll heritage out as full high school because thats what the bond was sold to the tax payers as.
