Some help needed for a wonderful sponsor (HOYS PHYSIO): Physiotherapists Steve Cunningham and Rob Hoy aka The Beefcakes have entered the Shitbox Rally 2014. Driving a car purchased for under $1000 from Perth to Darwin, they will be raising money for the Cancer Council. The Rally commences on May 31st for 8 days and involves driving a Shitbox named ‘Angus’ 3500 km. Angus is a green 1994 Holden Statesman. The Rally travels over some of the most deserted and challenging roads in Australia, through the Pilbara along the famous former cattle route, the Gibb River Road and through the Kimberley before finishing in Darwin. Many of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another. In July 2013, only two months after entering the Rally, the quest to raise funds for the Cancer Council became very personal. Steves 10 year old son Angus was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. He has undergone treatment and at present is doing well. Angus has been incredibly brave and has responded well to his treatment. Unfortunately many battle cancer without such positive results. Cancer is indiscriminate. Children dont catch it. Please help us donate to help research into all cancers “The Beefcakes” are looking for partners in this venture. All donations are fully tax-deductible. Sponsors of $500 or more will also receive promotion and branding in the form of signage on Angus the Shitbox and acknowledgement in all social media, media and marketing. And let’s face it - Angus paint job could do with some cosmetic improvements - so bring on the decals! If your budget goes beyond that talk to us and tell us what you want. Donations or sponsorship can be made directly to Steve and Rob or by going to the Shitbox Rally website shitboxrally.au and going to the teams section and finding Angus and the Beefcakes or via this link -shitboxrally.au/component/shitboxrally/?view=teams&Itemid=152. Follow our progress at https://facebook/angusandthebeefcakesshitboxrally2014. Thanks. Together we can make a real difference. Now, how do you change a tyre?
