Some knew him as Lanny. Others knew him as Hank. My brothers Lyle H Mccoy and Asa McCoy and my Mama, Anne Bennett McCoy Wilks knew him as Pop. He was a wonderful father. He was a stroke survivor. He was the bravest, funniest, most intelligent and coolest man I have ever known. He taught me more than I realized with is actions. He never quit. He did not complain. The only time I remember him ever saying a negative thing about his situation - I wish I could work till I was tired. His example made me the person I am today. I would never have has the confidence or strength to finish my degree or hold the position that I do. I miss him every day. I thank God that I had him just the way I did and still do as a father. I love you, Pop. Thank you for always being there for me to remind me what is important.
