Some more news from MH website... Las Vegas Gig.. NEWSFLASH (continued) 16th March 2014 VEGASXS. ROCK BAND INXS TO DO TEN WEEK RESIDENCY IN VEGAS! In news just to hand regarding the rock band INXS, the band announced today that they have signed on with an as-yet un-named Casino for a ten week residency in show biz capital LAS VEGAS. Band Manager/guru Christopher Murphy released a statement today informing Entertainment Weekly that This will be as good as any Vegas show youve ever seen. Apparently a stellar cast including, U2S BONO, lead singer of The Cult IAN ASTBURY, English star ROBBIE WILLIAMS, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, BRUNO MARS, Pearl Jams EDDIE VEDDER, PINK, ADRIAN GREINER, PHARRELL WILLIAMS, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and Australian Diva, KYLIE MINOGUE, have already signed on to take over the role of deceased INXS singer MICHAEL HUTCHENCE. In the release Murphy states that The show will run for over two hours and the band will be augmented by a four-piece horn section, four backing singers, two extra keyboard players and THE PUSSY CAT DOLLS DANCE ENSEMBLE. We are spending over $500,000 on the sound and lights alone. Plus you have the costume changes, The 3D Graphics, sax player-guitarist KIRK PENGILLY flying across the auditorium during a sax solo, elevated platforms extending out into the crowd for guitar-player TIM FARRIS, bass player GARY GARY BEERS and KIRK PENGILLY to walk out on, A GILDED PLATFORM for the singers to float out over the auditorium on, and a full-sized Church organ for song-writing genius ANDREW FARRIS. We are also trying to create a 3D HOLOGRAM of singer MICHAEL HUTCHENCE, so that he appears to sing the final song each night. We are talking to the same people who did TUPAC. If we can do this, it will obviously be the highlight of the show. Also, for one concert in every ten, everything will be gold, the costumes, the staging, the lighting as a tribute and out of respect for THE KING, ElVIS PRESLEY. The band are very excited about this, continued Murphy, And already we are getting good feed-back from their legions of fans. I can guarantee you that no-one will forget the names INXS and CHRIS MURPHY after these shows.
