Some music always sticks with you. Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66s - TopicsExpress

Some music always sticks with you. Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66s Look Around is one of those for me. My parents had it on reel-to-reel tape and I spent hours listening to this on headphones in the late 70s. It was the most un-hip thing I could listen (so I thought at the time), and yet it made me love sophisticated pop, and it made me an audiophile. By coincidence, I ended up managing an AirTouch Cellular store (now, its Verizon kids) at the corner of Sunset and LaBrea, across the street from the A&M studios where this was recorded. Id often find myself humming this song when I walked past. https://youtube/watch?v=QXF1lF6XNWI
