Some non-pedal stuff, but may be of interest to the people out there selling their music via Bandcamp and the like. From the 1st Jan, if you sell your music in the EU, then youll need to start charging VAT. That means having to get VAT registered, submitting quarterly returns and complying with data protection regulations - in other words, a complete (and expensive) pain in the ass. Or stop selling to your audience in the EU. In the UK at the minute theres a sensible exemption threshold where you need to be taking in more than £81,000 a year before having to get VAT registered, etc. Personally, I think thats fair and should stay - if you agree, then please take a minute to sign the petition below!
