Some non sequitors and a bit of wisdom (perhaps), concerning friends and friendship. A friend in need, is a friend indeed. Who said that? Benjamin Franklin? As it turns out, old Benjamin had many friends, and some might argue he had, well, a few too many in some respects. A friend in need, is a friend in deed. Yes, low hanging fruit, I know, but I couldnt resist. An addicted friend, is indeed, a very difficult friend. A friend is someone you want to spend time with and who wants to spend time with you, in ideally the same proportion (otherwise its kind of creepy), if that is not the case then its time to reassess your friendship - and thats ok, because friends are apparently, very rare. A friend is someone who wont blow you off, and act like nothing happened, if that is the case then its time to reassess your friendship - and thats ok, because friends are apparently, very rare. Did I forget anything? Please feel free to contribute below. On the other hand.... I LOVE COFFEE FRIENDS! You folks are just the best! I love beer friends! Ahh, far fewer of these, but still - You folks are the best! I love pool friends! (As in pool table, not swimming, you swimming people are regrettably not high on my list) - You pool table folks are the best! Of course, if youre a pool friend AND a beer friend well... I could never leave out.... I love dog friends! You guys are the very best! Clear as mud? Ahh, but now I digress which is not good. You see, Clear as mud? could take us down a whole nuther dimly lit alley and its too late for that, isnt it?! But wait a minute, whats a whole nuther, anyway?
