Some of the books Ive read this year (I cant remember them all and if I dont buy them (borrow) i completely forget! -Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant by Veronica Roth (love me the YA) -Loving Frank by Nancy Horan (not my cup of tea, but a very well written historical fiction novel) -Miss peregrines home for Peculiar Children, Hollow City by Ransom Riggs ( 2 in the series. a very interesting blend of historic photos and novel. Loved them) -How to make a Serial Killer by Christopher Berry-Dee and Steven Morris (Non fiction, very interesting) -The Demonologist by Andrew Pyper (totally scary and creepy, love it!) -The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff (really interesting historical fiction) -The Orienda by Joseph Boyden (winner of canada reads, really interesting) -Inferno by Dan Brown (meh, it was ok, ive read all the other books in the series and i like series, so i had to read it!) -the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows (not for me!) -The Witchs Daughter by Paula Brackston (loved it) -The Gilly Salt Sisters by Tiffany Baker (pretty good, interesting and compelling) -The Longings of Wayward Girls by Karen Brown (not for me!) -The invention of wings by Sue Monk Kidd (great) -The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak (OMG SO GOOD!! i even MOSTLY liked the movie adaptation...mostly...) (cant remember the others so Im assuming I didnt like them!)
