Some of the incidents Hamilton Police responded to over last 24 hours: Greenhouse Break and Enter On May 29th, 2014 at approximately 6:38 a.m., Hamilton Police were dispatched to Terra Greenhouses on Concession 5 East in response to a break and enter that had occurred overnight. Investigation revealed that two men attended the address and used a rock to smash out a window before entering the business. Once inside suspects made their way to the cash counter where a number of registers were thrown to the ground. It does not appear that suspects took anything from the premise. The Hamilton Police BEAR Unit continues to investigate. Cyclist Struck On May 29th, 2014 at approximately 9:53p.m., a woman was struck by a vehicle in the middle of the intersection at Monclair Avenue and Grosvenor Avenue. She was riding her bicycle westbound on Montclair Ave, approaching the four way stop intersection at Grosvenor Ave S. when she was struck by the vehicle. The woman had stopped at the intersection and continued westbound and while in the middle of the intersection was struck by a dark coloured SUV travelling northbound on Grovesnor Ave S. The driver proceeded past the stop sign without stopping and continued west on Montclair Ave. The woman fell off her bike and hit her head on the ground. The vehicle is described as a newer model SUV, square in shape, darkish colour (brown/maroon/burgundy), tinted windows, and possible chrome wheels. The 52-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Hamilton Police continue to investigate. ***One Impaired Incident***
