Some of the items the Dulles South Food Pantry offered guests yesterday when it provided 1588 lbs of food to 107 people in 25 households. The pantry needs to restock nonperishable fruit (plastic cups, cans, dried), small bags of rice, boxed potatoes, pasta sauce (no glass please), cooking oil, and canned tomato products of any kind. All nonperishable food items are gratefully accepted. Donations may be dropped off any time at collection boxes at South Riding Town Hall, the Dulles South Multipurpose Center, or at the Dulles South Food Pantry on Mondays and Wednesdays 10am-11:30am and Mondays 7-8pm at the historic white Chapel at Arcola UMC at 24757 Evergreen Mills Road.
