Some of the projects I have worked on as your councilman include: - Obtaining grants for emergency services - Repaving borough streets through grant money - Bringing improvements to the Morrisville Library new roof, heating & air conditioning reconstruction of the front porch roof new back porch & stairway -Initiated an LED street lighting pilot program as the catalyst for the borough-wide improvement project - Williamson Park improvements including: new tables and new grills new handicapped accessible pathway connecting areas of the park addressed the blighted pool property improved the tree canopy which is important economically and environmentally corrected the zoning in areas of the park that had for years been improperly zoned - Worked on an agreement with the Morrisville Business Association and Morrisvilles Economic Development Corporation to share in the Boroughs cost of being a Landmark Towns participant - Purchased a much needed street sweeper, bucket truck and emergency equipment - Worked on and helped to personally finance bringing concerts, festivals and programs to the residents - Brought improvements to Morrisvilles business district including: curbs, sidewalks, traffic signals and up to date lighting - Worked closely with the Morrisville Environmental Advisory Council to: plant dozens of trees throughout Morrisville Borough stage and volunteer at canal, Graystone Forest and riverfront clean-ups help in the proper development of the Morrisville Dog Park rezone and create the Morrisville Riverfront Preserve - Strengthened ordinances that impact safety and liability - Decreased residents sanitation bills while improving the sanitation services - Single stream recycling to the borough, making it easier than ever for residents to take advantage of recycling. - Brought a much needed emergency generator to the Morrisville Municipal Building - Negotiated common sense annual budgets that make cuts where possible, maintain services and move the community forward while easing the tax burden. - Ive put my money where my mouth is and used my own personal funds and resources to positively impact the community. - I have at all times been open to working with county and state officials, the mayors office, borough council, code enforcement, emergency service organizations, clubs, etc in an effort to provide the very best for Morrisville Borough.
