Some of the reasons for my unabashed loathing of nirvana, greenday, matchbox twenty, the Dave Matthews band and other rat shit for your ears out of the 90s is a lot of really good band that should have done well got overlooked at that time because they were busy ramming that garbage down our throats! But my main problem with the shit out of the 90s is that was all their was to listen to. That was all that was on the radio then. There was no large scale piracy at that time, no internet radio, no satellite radio, no in car mp3 players, car cd players were still high end and not standard equipment. So it was rammed down everyones thoat. I had too put up with 3 songs like that just to get a chance to hear something descent like zeplin and the music I really loved didnt get air play at all!
