Some of the things people told me who were being paid to educate me from high school onward: They said: -------------- 1. Youre an introvert 2. Youre bad at math and should go learn a skill using your hands 3. Youre not very good at learning languages 4. Youre not good at taking notes 5. The only road to success is through university 6. If you skip a year of having a job, youre jeopardizing your retirement 7. Paying taxes is a good thing, we should pay more taxes How things have turned out: -------------------------------------- 1. Ive done public speaking in front of hundreds of people and met some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world, lived in 9 countries (in some like Japan basically no one speaks any language I speak),traveled to 25 countries and I have friends from all over the world. 2. I now use math daily, but none of the stuff we learned. 3. I could speak 3 languages by the age of 7 fluently, 4 by the age of 8. Now Ive forgotten one language and can still speak 5 languages. 4. I teach hundreds of people on how to become an entrepreneur. 5. I never used anything I learned at college and I never went to university. 6. Ive worked 8 months at a job after graduating college and Im at a point where I really dont need to worry about retirement, I never plan to retire at all. 7. The governments who were supported by these taxes are now pretty much broke, the future belongs to entrepreneurs. What are YOUR educators telling you now...? Do you believe them?
