Some of you are probably wondering why Im posting nutrition information lately and where do I get my information? I just wanted to clear things up for the ones that arent aware. I graduated from Université de Moncton in 2001 with a Bachelor of Sciences majoring in Nutrition. Two years after, in 2003, I accomplish my Dietetic Internship at Georges L. Dumont Hospital. In 2004, I became a licensed Registered Dietician following an intense exam. During those years, I also opened my very first weight loss clinic which was a success for many years, but I decided to part with it because of the lack of benefits to being self-employed. Having a baby girl (shes now 12) in between all that and the dietetic jobs not being too promising during that time (in the Moncton area), I had no choice but to look for a different career. So in May 2005, I got hired by The Co-operators. I never looked back! I love my job and everyone in it! I could not ask for a better place to work. Ive been thru hell and back in the last 6 years with the passing of my brother Jason and my Dad, battling grief and depression. The Company and my coworkers have supported me all the way. Theyve seen me cried, lift me up when I needed to and I cannot thank you girls enough (You know who you are). Over the years, I saw my health deteriorate due to my lack of exercises and unhealthy eating habits. Having a hard pregnancy at 36 years old, having a hard time walking, sitting, and still be able to labour a healthy baby boy (which I thank God almost everyday), I made a promise to myself that I would start taking care of me as soon as baby is out. So that being said, I did not get my information from a cracker jack box. My main focus is MY health, my family and helping others by posting healthy tips, motivational quotes, etc. If you dont like my post, you know where the unfriend button is! Feel free to help yourself. Oh and by the way, I cant wait to go back to work at Co-operators in October when my maternity leave is over!
