Some of you have asked about an update about my health. Thank you so much for your prayers and concern. I am getting stronger each day...that is clear, though I have to not get ahead of myself! I seem to think I should be superwoman by now or something! So, I DO fatigue (and should plan long rests into my life), but I am walking for sustained periods of time using the cane or carrying the cane. This is amazing! This is ahead of anyones projected schedule, God be praised for that! The most recent blood tests may indicate that the staph is adjusting to the antibiotic...so I would welcome prayer that the staph would die. I do seem to struggle each day at some level with accepting this season, this situation...how to be surrendered, yet still hope and press on to grow and get strong? It feels like if I surrender, I give up hope, but I know that isnt true. Or if I just keep hoping for all my mobility to be restored that I will breed discontent in this current situation. I am feeling more pain due to the physical therapy sessions and because I am more mobile than I was. It takes a lot of strength to stabilize the body when we walk! Being more mobile is good, so I am not bothered so much by that. So I guess there you have it ... a mixed report, but mostly good stuff on the mobility front. I love having the ability to drive myself where I want to go. That is HUGE for me!
