Some of you have been curious about my semi-vague post about life - TopicsExpress

Some of you have been curious about my semi-vague post about life changes the other night. I am here to tell you about one of the biggest changes happening in our life right now! I have decided to put school on the back burner. I know some of you may think this is crazy, but I have a plan. (And if you know me very well at all, you know I tend to plan everything, so you shouldnt be surprised too much by this! :) ) When I say back burner, I definitely do not mean quitting school, I mean refocusing my life. For the past 4 years my focus has been school, above even my family. My goal in school was to get my counseling degree and work within a school district because it would give me a great schedule that fit around Calebs life and would still be related to my passion of psychology. As I moved forward in my school career, I realized that by the time I finish my Masters degree, Caleb will be a Junior in high school and I wont need that school-based calendar for much longer, if at all, and I will be doing a job I dont love. While processing this information, I have been pushing my Passion Parties business to the front. After a long chat with my super awesome accountability buddy, and then my amazing and supportive husband, I have decided that my business is going to become my focus. I absolutely love my business, and for the past few years, I have been putting school first, hoping that my future degrees would find me a job I liked. Now that I see it in this perspective, what the heck am I doing!? Of course I think education is important and will continue to work towards my degrees, but I have a career opportunity right in front of me that offers me more than I could ever ask for from a job and makes me insanely happy! I already get to make my own schedule which allows me to do whatever I need to do to be at Calebs life events, it allows me to support my family in a financial way that most jobs cannot provide, it allows me to win awards, free products, vacations and cash bonuses just for doing my job, and it allows me to meet and work with some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Without my business, I wouldnt have half of the friends I do, we couldnt afford the cost of Calebs traveling baseball, and I would be stuck in a job I most-likely hated. So, I want to say thank you. Thank you for supporting my business and allowing me to make this decision. And if you happen to relate to any of this, and are interested in what the business opportunity has to offer you, please let me know. I would love to share this happiness!
