Some of you have been having OOM problems with our DX11 lighting due to its memory intensive nature. Well no more. Here at the Milviz R&D Labs we have made a way to move the lighting engine into its own VAS zone entirely separate from FSX and established comm links between the two. The end result is not only reduced VAS consumption in FSX, but an even faster rendering time due to the low level hardware acceleration involved. Now before you get all excited about FSX 64bit let me state that THIS IS NOT FSX 64Bit AND IT WILL NEVER BE. You WILL still experience OOMs if you overdrive your sim with scenery and cloud textures. All we have done is make a little extra space for your scenery and other fx, by moving the hit our additions to the basic aircraft model may have outside of FSX to its own space.
