Some of you have had the pleasure to meet the new Doctor in practice. Here is a little bit more about Dr. Platz. Dr. Trista Platz D.C. Activator Methods Proficiency Rated Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) Spine Certified Cox Flexion Distraction Proficiency Rated Webster Technique Certified Dr. Platz attended Wayne State University before transferring to Logan Chiropractic College in Chesterfield, MO where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology, followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Platz first became interested in chiropractic care while seeking treatment for her chronic migraines. The results were so remarkable, she developed a passion for helping others find pain relief naturally. She utilizes the Activator Method, Cox Flexion Distraction and Active Release Technique to provide patients with the most innovative chiropractic care. During her internship, Dr. Platz had the opportunity to provide chiropractic care at the VA Medical Center and treat athletes at a variety of community events in St. Louis, MO. As a former competitive dancer, she has an appreciation for the structure of the human body and how it affects neuromuscular function. She continues to attend seminars to stay up to date on current literature and chiropractic techniques. Dr. Platz also has a special interest in pediatrics and prenatal care. She has completed post-graduate coursework with a focus on pregnancy and is certified in the Webster Technique. She enjoys educating patients about the benefits of chiropractic care and collaborating with other health professionals to provide her patients with the best care possible.
