Some of you know I recently in moved, in the process of transitioning both physically and mentally in preparation for a new school year, nothing brought me back to earth, the real world, until I turned on my computer today to learn the great, and now late, Zaid Shareef lost his battle with cancer. Zaid was an all around beautiful and talented spirit. His quick wit would liven up any conversation. An optimist and comedic genius, for years Zaid inspired me as I am sure he has many others. My thoughts are with his family. It is now more than ever we are reminded the importance of time. Life is promised to no one. No one knows how much time they will have here, cherish and make the most of every second. Accept the world for the beautiful and interesting place it truly is. Live the life you have imagined, swing for the fences, climb the mountain, conquer your dreams whatever they maybe as long as they make the world a better place. Then, keep going, keep going, and keep going. For if time is truly limited, why not make the most of it? Each of you holds the potential to be more. You beautiful and amazing beings, you college graduates, you fantastic cosplayers, who both inspire and blow me away at every convention, with your life-like characters, your wonderfully designed props, and all the dancers on my page who upload videos which cause me to yell at the screen, Wow, I will learn that someday!. To the filmmakers who constantly exceed my expectations in the local indie film circuits, to my younger brother Anthony, who recently had a birthday, and is a source of both inspiration and pride, even if I do not notice it immediately, to the people on my page who constantly upload interesting and new manners of art and expression, opening my eyes more, to those who sit in the audience at my shows and cheer me on, to all the amazing and lovely people who have helped me bring dreams to life life as I have help them, to my immediate and lost distant family who are always in the back of my mind, I say to you all, We have one life, why not make it amazing?! R.I.P. Zaid Shareef Gone, not forgotten.
