Some of you were wondering why we got 3rd place trophy after we got eliminated as the #4 seed. After checking on the rules: Page 11 under Seeding teams during playoff situation 2nd bullet says Teams enter the playoffs with a clean-slate 5th bullet says Should there be a tie in the play-off bracket, only those scores during playoff games will be taken into consideration and point tie breaker will be used With this, my interpretation is that Aqua Pirates and Blue Wave essentially enter the playoff with a 0-0 record, we both loss and had a 0-1 record in playoff, but since we loss 2-0 and aqua lossed 14-6, by point differential ( -2 to -8) blue wave got third place. So dont think that we got third place out of pity or something.. Mark Walker, Jane Eldredge .. is my interpretation correct?
