I tried to respond to all the great Happy Birthday wishes, but I think I just need to say thank you all for the cards, texts and postings! Being 68 simply means Gods been merciful and has blessed me in so many ways! We just got home from Darlenes Chemo. appointment, no remarkable news other than everything is going as expected! I watch her and stand amazed at her faith, strength, courage and conviction as she assures me and the Drs and nurses that Gods got this covered as we climb this mountain we fight back fear, anger and all the other human stuff and then pause to claim Gods promise that he will go with us and before us each and every step we take! We claim victory, healing and restoration and ask God to use this time for both of us to bare witness to his power, Grace and Glory! We went after the Chemo. to Mondos in Coralville to celebrate my birthday by having dinner! and now are home, we are so blessed to have all your prayers and words of encouragement and concern! may God Bless you all, thank you and you will be kept posted on the progress of this journey!
