Some of you will remember Gentle who went to live with Mr and Mrs Gentle Yes really!! Well we have just received this lovely update from her. I absolutely warms your heart to have some good news in amongst all the cruelty and bad news that we seem to be hearing at the moment. Hi Dolores - its 4 months now and - Gentil the wonder dog just gets better and better - she is lying in her basket with all the doors open and is free to wander when she wants. She has not been on a line for a couple of months and has not had the electric collar (that we only used with the sound setting) for 2 weeks - she runs free on walks (1 or 2 hours a day) and is learning to stop at the road. She has lots of doggy friends and she plays really well - ignores the chickens and the cat and regards Brian as her alpha. Brian is enjoying the love of his life. She sleeps at the bottom of the stairs in her basket and only sneaks up if there is storm. In the morning she comes up in 3 stages with her nose in the doorway if we dont get up telling us it is time for her walk. No soiling since we changed her sleeping arrangements. Once we established who was the boss of the household all has gone very well - (you have probably guessed who that is) - Best wishes Lianne
